Centaurus A Galaxy from the pristine dark skies of #observatorioelsauce in Chile. The galaxy is an estimated 10 to 16 million light years away. 

Higher Altitude

Mt. Rainier under the Milky Way with bright green airglow.

Badlands

This particular night there was absolutely insane green airglow popping off.

The Hubble Space Telescope detects the spectral signature of the vaporized debris that revealed a combination of rocky-metallic and icy material, the ingredients of planets.
